Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

Are your conversion rates dropping? Wondering why website visitors aren't buying your products or services? Could your website's user experience be optimized? I have performed 100's of Conversion Rate Optimization Audits for a multitude of online businesses. Some audits are very technical and others more high-level where I go over best practices. My approach is dictated by where you are currently at with your business.

My website optimization process consists of 3 phases:

1️⃣ Website Audit: I find where there are conversion bottle-necks with an in-depth UI/UX and User Journey audit. The goal is not only to understand where your website is leaking the most money but also to find what funnel step or flow blocks the growth of the whole business. In order to thoroughly audit your online business, I will need access to a combination of quantitative (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Kissmetrics, etc) and qualitative research (heat maps, scroll maps, forms analytics, surveys, user testing, interviewing your sales, marketing, customer support tickets, etc.) This will help me understand what the user is doing on the website from a variety of vantage points. CRO is more about persuasion techniques and fixing user's problems rather than testing button color.

 

2️⃣ Implementation (Design & Development): Once the audit is finalized, I can help with re-designing and/or re-developing your website based on the my audit recommendations. I will start by implementing the lowest hanging fruit and then begin layering other changes thereafter, all while using A/B testing as a means of validating that the changes are working.

 

3️⃣ On-Going Development and A/B Testing: I can execute the most complicated experiments and pretty much handle anything you can imagine on the front-end with all of the A/B testing tools (Google Optimize, Optimizely, Convert.com, Visual Website Optimizer, Google Analytics content experiments, etc). The goal with this phase is to take findings from the audit and to begin layering in the recommendations into your website by using A/B testing to validate each change.
